Peter, do you really think the lower tax rates have been a major factor in the economy's rebound?

Don't you think that the lowest interest rates in 50 years along with an extremely loose monetary policy after 9/11 had much much much more to do with it?

Personally I'd rather see economic growth based on a more sound foundation than "tech bubbles" and "real estate bubbles". I think there should be a law that every tax cut MUST be balanced with an equal cut in expenditures.

I think cutting taxes in a "Time of War" is an affront to our military personnel and tells them that while we expect the ultimate sacrifice from them, we aren't going to make ANY sacrifices of our own and were even gonna make OUR lives a little easier.
