True, people both want and need a change. But I don't think the third party option will work unless voting rules are changed. Thus, I favor Democrats getting back the leadership of both the House and Senate in '06, if but for any reason than the reason to have more accountability. Before even thinking about '08 many, many oversight hearings need be held in Congress. So if any meaningful change is ever to take place, the Dems gotta get the House and Senate back.
