China Natural Resources to Maintain Listing on the Nasdaq

NEW YORK (AP) -- China Natural Resources Inc. (CHNR) said Friday that it received approval for its stock to continue trading on the Nasdaq.

The Hong Kong-based company had appealed a Nasdaq decision to delist the company for failing to apply for new listing before acquiring Feishang Mining Holdings Ltd. in February.

China Natural Resources shares rose $2.75, or 38.1 percent, to $9.96 in afternoon trading on the Nasdaq. The company's shares have traded in a range of $2.75 to $21.70 in the past year.
