Some miscellaneous ramblings: Schafe - I'm afraid your implications are correct concerning the purpose of the letter. Long term I believe ALAN will prove to be a worthwhile investment. Just longer than I initially thought. Was Wal-Mart to easy? Is ALAN looking for another home run (Salubre?} rather than getting their feet dirty with the smaller end users. Do they have the sales and marketing personnel to reach smaller market segments? Whose feet will they step on with other distributor dealers in the US. Why should anyone align themselves with ALAN when they can conceiveably go to Perfect Fry? Concerning CDSI - ALAN has made reference to competitors in past annuals; ie. Wheelabrator, Pure Air, General Electric, Westinghouse, Mitsubishi and several government programs. Does anyone have any input on these competitors, their technologies and possible deployments. I'm having a difficult time tracking them down. (see competitive conditions 1996 annual)
