That's a reasonable interpretation.

The a few paragraphs earlier in the DailyTech article it mentioned that the Rev D to Rev E transition from 130 to 90nm was accompanied by the addition of SSE3, a significant item in terms of benchmark comparisons.

I think it is most reasonable to expect something similar for Rev F -> Rev G. A shrink plus a goodie.
