Hi Jim, Yes, FVI is a Closed End Fund and does trade on the exchanges like a "company" stock. I did mistakenly call it an ETF. Sorry.

Actually for me, the ability of the fund to trade a "premium/discount" range around NAV gives it the extra bit of amplitude that should help in capturing some extra profits.

Yes, I think this one is best suited for retirement accounts where tax consequences from both trading and dividend will be avoided.
