Hopkins has always turned negatives into positives in his life. I'm pretty sure he used the Taylor "losses" as motivation for the Tarver fight. He knew he had really won those fights but I also believe he realized some mistakes were made and he needed to change his approach against Tarver.

If Taylor's performance against Hopkins was so terrific in both fights, why change trainers? DiBella and company knew they were lucky to get the decision both times and moved toward setting Taylor on a better course. DiBella's talking a lot of crap again about Wright and I think his golden boy Jermain is going to be unable to solve the Winky Wright puzzle.

Interesting story regarding your Atlantic City adventure, e. Funny you should mention Freddie Roach whom I regard very highly as a trainer. Taylor would have been much better off having him in his corner rather than Steward.
