Private foundation grants as well.

I'm all for environmentalism when it puts its own money where its mouth is. Two examples are The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and The Nature Conservancy. They put money into habitat acquisition and restoration and have been very instrumental in some fine projects that I have personal knowledge of.
