Google gives 130,000 hits for {"mass balance" Greenland}. Look at a few and you will see that the results are quite varied. Here is one: eurekalert.org I am sure that you can find lots of writing about global warming with scary titles. Predictions of catastrophe never seem to work out. Remember the "Club of Rome"? Remember Paul Ehrlich? Couldn't have been more wrong. Who knows, maybe the doomsayers will be right this time. The surface and satellite records agree fairly well on the 0.2 deg/decade warming. Google it if you wish. As Lane3 has answered your other points I'll leave it at that.
