thanks so much...I think you are might be right in the description of the market..I have learned the hard way...E.Charters has a trial subscription which you might try out... he used to post here but got booted off because he ruffled a lot of peoples' feathers in the process of trying to save them money and showing what he knows in the universe..his style was "unusual to say the least"(when my cat was dying he was very sympathetic and made some excellent suggestions which I am forever appreciative)You can find his url at this thread Subject 10566. Pacific Rim was one of the reasons he got booted off...it still might be in the archives... anyways the market timing appears to be buy in July when the short sellers have savaged everything because there are no buyers to sustain the prices....sell to make profits in September...buy in tax selling selling season and sell in January or something...just basically trade them unless they are near production...at this point with gold down and out..that isn't a good strategy either since companies making money such as alta aren't even doing well... also there seems to be the "promotion du jour" as if certain stocks were picked before hand to spur the market higher and higher and as seen first hand..they usually collapse... (BIL and SUR and the diamond plays will probably do well)(Coral is doing well..Placer is drilling now)(please mention some other stocks that your friend likes...and what else he teaches you) (supposedly if you learn the rules of the game..the market will treat you kindly...supposedly...) bobby
