The latest defector from the deep-denial faction is Republican Party pollster, Frank Luntz, the spinmeister who, back in 2002, advised the White House that, as long as it pretended that the science on global warming was unresolved, it could forestall public demands for action.

Luntz has since admitted to the BBC that it's now obvious that global warming is real and that people are causing it. But, when asked about the Bush Administration's continued denials, he shrugs his shoulders and says, "I've got nothing to do with it now."...>>
