When it comes to the collapse of one of the highest buildings in the world after being hit by an airliner there are no experts. Expertise requires prior experience, and that is lacking here. The nearest thing to experts are structural engineers who specialise in the design of buildings like these, but they have no experience with the kind of injury inflicted on the WTC buildings. Nobody could have predicted with confidence the effect of these attacks - I believe the al Qaeda people were themselves rather surprised.
