You'd have to be really out of it not to be against this senseless and badly bungled war. And this is not a question of supporting the troops anymore. They have gone far beyond their call of duty in Iraq, far-far beyond. It's now grossly unfair to continue punishing our troops by leaving them there.
Our military is already badly degraded and needs years of healing and rebuilding time.

Bush-Cheney told us the war was going to be over within weeks or a few months and their people made all kinds of phony promises. So we can't give them any credit eiother no matter what happens. If we're very lucky we can leave Iraq soon without it falling into a fiery civil war. Of course, that civil war has already been going for a long time, but it's just a question of degrees.

One thing for sure, Bush's last big excuse for staying in Iraq was not to leave it to Zarqawi. Now that he's dead, few excuses left for "staying the course".
