The latest CBS poll taken two days ago says 33%. That was taken right after the Zarqawi strike, though let's be charitable to Bush and give him 36%.

We are all very glad Zarqawi is dead, but this also puts a lot of pressure on Bush now to start bringing our troops home. Remember, Bush's #1 excuse for "staying the course" (which 65% of the country is against) has been because we can't leave the ocuntry to Zarqawi. Now Zarqawi is dead so no more excuses.

Also, as Iraq looks a wee bit less disasterous, the stock market has gone down 700 points in the past two weeks due to a combination of bad news on the economy, so the bubble Bush was boasting about last month appears to be bursting and everyone knows who's to blame the for gas gouging.
