Thats because people want huge returns NOW! The boring old economy stocks wont give them that. What stocks earn and yield is pretty meaningless by that measure. Although many of the Gold and metal stocks are earning huge money here that is not why we buy them either, at least not me. A few stocks I watch today G and ABX have flirted with going green. If they do this may be a short term bottom here. JMHO of course.
