The South Vietnamese people were grateful for the Americans help, as far as it went. I just met one of the escapees, who escaped with this 4 siblings and their parents on the final day of that war....He has learned English, has two businesses', has become a US Citizen, and has started a non-profit organization for children worldwide. He is my idea of a true American. He also is asked to speak throughout the US, and he told me he loves to tell his story....He thinks that America is truly the best country in the world. It offers everything to those who want to work hard and achieve. I'm so very proud of him and his family. It was truly an honor for me to be able to sit next to him for a couple of hours, and hear what he had to say. Our organization has given him a National Award....
