I think what is most damaging to Gore's chances for a presidency is the number of times he has attempted to re-image himself. Had he maintained the persona and stayed on track with the platform he supported during the Clinton campaign (with updates over time of course), I would vote for him myself. I expressed my support for him back then but now I just see him as desperately saying and doing whatever he can to bring any group to support him.
