Steven, this was just meant to be a general comment and not really related to you post. So far, the sell offs were not that bad, just erased a few month of gains, which is not a big deal. Only the wacky stuff (emerging markets, overheated commodities) got killed, but even so folks in those stocks should still be sitting on substantial gains. I have recently repositioned my portfolio, sold CBS at pretty favorable prices and VIA at unfavorable ones. Started a position in well known CHK and added some to SNHY. I am also looking forward to deploy some more cash tomorrow.
