I say "These damned Dells. They're just crap." all the time. I've had many systems go in for repair more than once a year during their 2-3 years of useful life. They're crap! And I'm not alone. Many other people I know have had similarly poor experiences, especially in the last few years. These are more recent experiences, not the ones built many years ago when they used to build up their good reputation. Now they're just trying to ride the coattails of their predecessors from the 90's. Same with their support that once was excellent, but now is crap too. Ironically, Microsoft has improved in the same time, but that too is crap, but less than before.
