If so.........and I doubt that completely.........I'd like to see some proof.

Every once in a while I have an experience here that is so weird I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. This is surely one of them. It boggles my mind, utterly, how someone could say something as obvious as "many people like strawberry ice cream" and someone else could not only demand proof but make an issue of it.

You need only be a sentient American to recognize that many people like strawberry ice cream. Also that many kids overindulge in video games, that many illegal aliens are Latino, that many TV programs contain sex and violence, that many kids play organized soccer, and that many conservatives are down on public schools. Like, duh! Would a statement that "many liberals oppose vouchers" provoke a request for a link? How about "many liberals support teachers' unions."? Or "many liberals oppose organized prayer in public schools."? Or "many liberals want evolution taught."? I wouldn't think so. Any reasonably aware person is aware of those conditions.

Actually the comment was insulting.

So I suppose the comment could be considered insulting. Likewise this one. Neither is meant to be hurtful, however, only a prod to recheck whatever mind block or shoulder chip is getting in the way of recognizing something too obvious for a link.
