I think you are misinterpreting that comment. I did extensive research on that a while ago. While some of the less responsible pundits were claiming that meant he was exaggerating the facts, what he actually meant was that he was cramming his presentation with lots and lots of facts about the danger to get people's attention at the expense of talking about solutions. I have a gripe about that, which I discussed upthread. But it's not the same issue as exaggerating the facts, which I think was your point.
