Well, I guess that's clear. You genuinely have no use for Gore.

All he is saying is quite simple. Before the public is in a mood to address solutions, they have to see a problem. So he thinks folks who care about the issues need to spend their time educating on the "facts," before addressing solutions.

One might disagree with that rather strategic choice, as I think Karen does. But it's a fairly low level choice, one that any person who wishes to sway public opinion has to make.

Certainly neither arrogant nor "worse political decision making."
