When I first saw this ten year tipping point a couple of months ago I scratched my head. If we only have ten years, then we might as well forget about it. We couldn't possibly have a remedy in place in ten years. So I have to wonder about the people who are sending that message thinking it will spur action. They must be daft. It's a defeatist message, time to look at mitigation and adaption, not prevention. You don't start building an ark and gathering animals when the flood is coming tomorrow. You look for shelter and a life vest.
