If we only have ten years, then we might as well forget about it. We couldn't possibly have a remedy in place in ten years. Even if it would happen in ten years and everyone in the world agreed that it would and all worked together on it with no political battles or delaying tactics (and when does such a thing ever happen?) the actual implementation of any such rapid solution would be an economic disaster, probably causing massive recessions in the developed world, and starvation in the least developed countries.
