Well...then don't you think it would be better to make adjustments in the tax itself to shield the "semi-wealthy" from an undue burden rather than just tossing the whole thing out? The estate tax provides a LOT of revenue. I know in a perfect world we would have NO taxes and we wouldn't have to worry about deficits and infrastructure and two simultaneous wars, but in the REAL world that stuff comes up.
