This was years ago and most women didn't argue let alone discuss politics. She opened up Pandora's box with me, and I let her have it. I asked her if the people of Hawaii, deserved to be bombed while they slept...no answer there, of course. She said the germans would have won the war if they had our steel, factories and rubber, tanks and airplanes.. She didn't mention the people doing all the jobs that had to be done to get the tanks rolling. To this day, Germans think they are the superior race. They are very altruistic.
