Exit strategy is not cut and run. Exit strategy is where you start working towards building a coalition of nations and hand it over to them by promising them that rebuilding contracts would not be exclusively awarded to US firms only including Halliburton.

That is what the Democrats need to have on their platform. Stated plainly, they need to come out and state specifically that they have no intentions of "colonializing Iraq." That they intend to respect the sovereignty of the Iraqi nation by not approving of the US President just showing up in Iraq without informing the democratically PM of Iraq etc. etc.
