Well that doesn't explain it. Anand used higher resolutions, therefore performance should have been GPU, not CPU limited. Something else must explain it.

In any event, the performance difference on these games is between 10 and 20%, no more. Almost 20% higher clock should be achievable on 90nm just using embedded SiGe transistors.
