Brooktrout Tech Licenses Pdts For Sending Voice Over Internet BOSTON (Dow Jones)--Brooktrout Technology Inc. (BRKT) licensed standards-based voice compression and call control technologies from I-Link Worldwide Inc.'s (ILNK) MiBridge Inc. unit. Terms weren't discloses. In a press release Monday, Brooktrout said it will use MiBridge's IP telephony technology in a line of computer software and hardware products designed to send voice over IP networks, including the Internet. Brooktrout supplies computer hardware and software for fax and voice-messaging. MiBridge develops communications software that supports multimedia communications over the public switched telephone network, local area networks, and the Internet.
