Jason & Lance & Lutt's Dilemma - a few thoughts
An excellent post appeared on this thread a few weeks ago by the mysterious Ursa Minor which discussed Lutt's Dilemma in a most insightful and elegant fashion. I would suggest that you gentlemen find yourselves taking the opposing sides of that dilemma.
Lance - the side you supported, and very clearly stated, certainly does have a following. It has much merit and compulsion in many people's fears, if not directly in their immediate thoughts.
... But for what it is worth - although I hear you very clearly, Lance - more often than not, at the end of the day, I find myself on Jason's side of the issue. In fact, your post stated that position very well, Jason. Thank you.
Returning to my request for general discussion for a moment, are there not more people willing to tackle this difficult question? I know it is unpleasant. But it is necessary to understand the potential downside, even if you think it will go way back up. It is just the opposite side of the same coin, not a different coin, at all. I have come to respect the level of intelligence and energy of the people that contribute to this thread. Can we not, now, tackle this together after all we have been through?
