I came over here to try and read about Intuit without having to hear about how much money Ivan Boesky made on Excite.

It would be nice to hear some facts (or even more speculation) on what caused yesterdays dramatic rise. I dopn't understand this morning's pullback, and wonder if the price won't again begin to rise above yesterday's close.

I think Intuit would be a good fit for Block. I think Compuserve was an anomoly. And from impressions of the latest release (QW6) of Quicken, I'm not sure Cook doesn't have the capability of screwing up Quicken as well as HRB screwed up Compuserve.

Intuit has the capability of regaining its place as the fulcrum for PC based personal finance and investing, or it could become the next Pet Rock.

Good luck to Intuit investors and this thread,

jas
