I dont understand why otherwise smart folks feel it necessary to compare US mistakes/atrocities with those of the nazis and communists? I am not looking to whitewash the US but to make this kind of comparison is wrong. One can rail against US fp all day and point out incidents like Mai Lai, and Abu Ghraib without comparing it to what amounts to probably 50 million folks who were wiped out by Nazi, Chicom, and Soviet butchery.
