I think that line item almost always includes all "one-time events" and charges. That's why I have a negative EPS. Intel may highlight "pro forma" results in their press release. I also think there's a pretty good chance Intel will miss their revenue guidance and not ever issue a warning if last-minute sales don't materialize. I can't imagine Intel will not use the already-expected poor results for Q2 to take writedowns. OTOH, trying to complete asset sales or determine layoff expenses in the next 3 weeks may be impossible. So if they know some of these writeoffs will happen in Q3, they might try to put them all in Q3. Petz
