Murtha is the most trusted military expert in congress, bubba BS boy. when active duty generals need to get a message out (since they can't speak out without resigning first) they call Jack Murtha. So when Murtha speaks he speaks much more for the Pentagon brass than Rumsfield, Cheney or Bush does.

Murtha is a 35 year Marine veteran and one of the great compassionate champions of our soldiers, military families and veterans rights. Murtha is also a rock solid conservative, but an honest one unlike the Bushie bunch.

Kerry is not only a bona fide war hero, but a great peace-maker. He has devoted a great part of his senatorial career to defending veterans rights. His Veterans Bill Of Rights is a landmark. He and McCain took on the thankless task of healing the Vietnam War wounds (which the smearvets ripped open again in 2004 with their ugly lies) and despite the rightwing spin, he was right about how to handle Saddam Hussein and Iraq from day one. And contrary to what Bush's dishonest 2004 ads said, Kerry has a strong military voting record, exactly the same as Zell Miller's in fact, while Miller was in the senate.

Meantime, not a single rightwing leader has ever dared to serve his country in combat. So if you want to LOL at someone, laugh at those arrogant BS-barfing chickenhawks.
