I too wonder scott,
What was going through her mind, but I never had a lot of faith in her anyway, O'Connor, I mean, as she never ruled really progressively when she had the chance.. So why then, the most important decision, she ever sat on, to do differently, when the chips were really on the line.
A lack of courage, maybe so, I don't know, to go along to get along, but that doesn't mean shit in my mind now, and in history's mind.. She had her chance when it really counted, but she blew it so big.. So big, she will never be able to atone for it.. I feel some sorry for her for that...
It's EASY for her NOW, like all those that DO NOW, from supporting JC, to our founding fathers, to MLK, etc..
And so it goes, as we stumble along with no courage of OUR own convictions NOW, but wait until it is safe..<bng>.. |
