NCR to Offer NCD's WinCenter Multi-User Windows NT Software
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 23, 1997--NCR and Network Computing Devices Inc. (NASDAQ:NCDI) announced an agreement by which NCR will offer NCD's WinCenter multi-user Windows NT software on NCR server systems.
In announcing the agreement, Bob Gilbertson, NCD's president and CEO said, ``Beyond our delight in working with NCR, we are particularly pleased that the thin client computing model is gaining support from another major player in the computer industry.

WinCenter software is a multi-user version of Windows NT installed on networked servers; it can be accessed from thin clients, PCs and UNIX workstations anywhere on the network, providing high performance, ease of support and low cost of ownership for desktop devices.
