That might be the case. The last few independents to run have harmed the major party Presidential candidates they were most closely aligned with. It is likely that nobody would even remember the sick pervert from Arkansas and his evil wife as more than a footnote if not for Ross Perot. Likewise we would have had a Socialist apologist for depravity in the Whitehouse if not for Ralph Nader.

They Jewish factor is not that large. Recent religious census accumulations indicate that Jews represent in the 1 - 2 percent range.
