Peter, You and I both know that society didn't have damned thing to do with the wealth of any person. A case in point, is my Dad who started out with a upholstery business in a rented garage in 1939. He worked his ass off to make it grow, and got no help from society or the government. In the beginning, he worked alone, and then a Mexican shoe shine boy came around, and my Dad asked him if he wanted to learn a trade. That made two, and the company grew through hard work, and a superior product, moved to a small town in south central Texas, and when it was sold, it employed 210 people. The company was run in such a manner, that unions called for 4 elections trying to take over, and the employees voted for our family instead of the unions. We knew that the most important asset a business has is the people that makes it operate, and we treated them with respect and a good wage that they appreciated.
