RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 2006--Colony, a member of the Excess and Surplus Lines segment of Argonaut Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:AGII), announced today a strategic arrangement with Stratus Insurance Services to offer general liability, limited professional liability, inland marine, and property insurance products on an exclusive basis to members of two national trade and professional associations.

The Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (HPBA) represents over 2,000 manufacturers, retailers, distributors, installers and service providers with business interests related to these industries. The National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG) represents 2,600 members who provide services in the chimney and venting industries. Both associations strongly endorse member-benefit programs, including this comprehensive insurance product provided by Colony. The program will be insured by Colony Insurance Company, A.M. Best "A" (Excellent) rated, with underwriting services provided by Stratus.
