It was a tough fight to score for me. At least half the rounds could have gone for either fighter depending on which flurry caught your attention. Damn few rounds had clear domination by either fighter.

I would have given the fight to Taylor. IMHO, Winky made more errors than just not fighting the last round. I think he should have tried to frustrate Taylor more in the earlier rounds with more than just the peek-a-boo defense. Even though he was picking many of the punches off, he did allow Taylor to get into a punching rhythm. I didn't think much of his post fight "act" either, I expected more out of him.

On the Hopkins/Tarver replay....the only thing more pitiful than Shaq's free throw style is/was Tarver's feeble attempts at jabbing. Other than fear of having the purse held up, there was little reason for the fight to go on past the 8th round.
