I bought Halliburton at $12 about six years ago. It is now at $75. Halliburton has been given huge no-bid contracts without any real oversight and have cheated the taxpayers to the tune of at least a billion dollars by now. Their contract allows them to spend anything they want, a black check with taxpayers money. Some of the items they charge us for (plus a commission) are $150,000 truckdrivers, $5 nails, $5 gallons of gas in the heart of ME oil country, $50 meals for troops, etc.

All these things could be deliverede at a fraction of the cost if Halliburton weren't running things. Also, a Colonel I spoke to who was back from the ME told me Halliburton runs everything and the military is not allowed to question them. So clearly part of the failure in Iraq is Halliburton's fault, and we're paying for it through our noses. Just huge-huge corruption involved. 21 billion missing over there too.
