Ah, i need a tank just like that, make some manure tea maybe ... thinking of a bit of irrigation here, just rejected the idea for probably the seventh year in a row ... cost of materials provides a great excuse this year, real reason is it sets up too much work and life is already complicated
Some great posts on cycles there ... the real estate activity one here is a bit off for BC, if extended, but it's parallel to a degree for sure ... cycle here can be as short as six point something years and as long as twelve, that's on the basis of price not volume, though the two are closely related - Message 22550842
... not many people realise that one big helping factor in our taking of Vimy Ridge is that our general was still pissed off at his going broke in the Great Victoria Boom of '13 ... today is the anniversary of the Clay-Calhoun bunch declaring war on us, for those who follow such things [... and so our rights which they maintained, we swear to yield them never!]
Speaking of tanks, sort of - stopped by a ready-mix place yesterday, four guys are playing with a truck whose drum drive broke in transit, concrete set up hard partly because it was late in whatever day that happened, partly inexperience on the driver's part [one presumes] ... so, they've started to chip it out with jackhammers [imagine the hearing protection necessary, ooo], that didn't work, so they decided to blow it out, somebody's got a friend who's a genius with powder .... important to clean this thing out, because the drum is worth more than the old truck it's on ... well, now it looks like somebody shot a big-bore cannon off from inside, twice - flared openings just like in cartoons .... it had become hilarious by the time i got there, life was good ... but i guess it all goes to cycles - when that drum stops turning, look out |
