Some news released today. biz.yahoo.com It seems there was a reorganization of one of the laser groups within Coherent. I am not familiar enough with history to know if this was a punishment-type move indicating that there has been a failure on the part of some individual or organization with respect to expectations or if it is more of a strategic move. I guess it just seems to me that most corporate reorganizations are reactive (to bad things) instead of proactive. Hopefully COHR is being proactive in their pursuit of excellence.
