Here is the relevant line from nasd.com. NAME TSEC CURSHRT PREVSHRT CHNGSHRT PRCTCHNG AVDVOL QUADRAX CP QDRX 27387 19677 7710 39 307328 Can someone please interpret this. The shorts went up 39% between July and August. That is a big percentage, but what is the actual volume? Does 27387 current shorts mean blocks of 100? That would translate into 2.7 million shares being shorted which would be around 6 or 7 percent of total float. Is this normal for stocks?
