Peter, If there were not any people that take the risk if putting all they own to make a business go, there would be not labor unions. There would be no jobs. I don't know if it is still true, but back then, all a worker wanted was fair wages, a good, safe, and decent place to work in, and have the owners recognize that they are people doing their best, and give them a pat on the back every now and then. Our employees knew that, if they had a problem either at work or in their lives, they didn't need to talk to a the union steward, but could walk into the front offices and be welcome.
