Bruce, I don't have an argument with the scoring. Call it 7-5 for either side and no big fuss from me. Most rounds had an ebb and flow that made them pick-ems. But...IMHO Winky should have tried to make Taylor miss more in the earlier rounds...befuddled maybe but not frustrated, Taylor landed the more significant blows. Most of us would probably prefer to take three of Winky's punches instead of two from Taylor.

I think Winky was "spoiled" in earlier bouts with fighters that would have been dominated physically by Taylor.

There will most likely be continued improvement in Taylor but no drastic change in his approach, assuming a rematch. He is a bull of fighter at middleweight. He impresses me as a fighter that will not be "capable" of varied fight strategies until lack of success makes it necessary.
