Iraq was better off under Saddam than under Dumbya. I have known a few engineers from other countries that worked in Iraq pre-2003, and they say there is no way they would go there now.

At least in the pre-2003 days, as long as you didn't overtly oppose Saddam, you could walk along the streets of Baghdad or travel from town to town without the fear of getting blown up. In Dumbya's Iraq, it doesn't matter what you say or think. If you go outside, you have a good chance of not coming back home.

This is not to say that Saddam is good or great or anything like that. It is only to say that Dumbya and his neocon artists are worse and even more incompetent than Saddam ever was.
