Nadine, that was not the question you asked. The issue was about "not dissuading the US from invading".

Many nations did not support the US invasion, even though "all" reports suggested that Saddam had WMDs. There were inspectors on the ground, who until BUsh ordered the US troops to march in had said that they had not found any WMDs. But our great man, Mr. Powell with encouragement from Cheney and Bush went and told the UN how Saddam had them on mobile carriers etc. etc. All a lie.

Bush is trying his level best to hoodwink the stupid folks by saying that at that time we "all" supported the invasion. Even you posted that nobody dissuaded the US. And posted showing that "US was arm-twisting". That is a rebuttal of the Bush-Cheney lie machine.

Taking a country to war by deliberately twisting the truth is tantamonut to being a traitor. That is even worse than the reason Hitler gave to the Germans.
