Because this is called moving the goalposts, and I'm not going to let you do it.

You didn't claim that France and Germany opposed the US war on Iraq. That's a matter of record. Instead, you claimed that France and Germany didn't believe that Saddam really had WMDs. I replied, if they didn't believe it, surely they would have mentioned their reasons for doubt to butress their anti-war arguments - why didn't they do that?

Then you claimed that they did claim that Saddam didn't have WMDs. At this point, I demanded evidence, in the form of quotes. UNSC votes do not cut the mustard.
