Wingnuts apparently do not think at all, and just reguritate what they hear from others. Good example. They are also fine with practicing socialism with our money in other countries like Iraq to benefit Haliburton for things like building schools and roads, but not fine with it being practiced here.

I agree regarding the utter failure of the U.S. auto manufacturers to keep up with the Japanese. There couldn't be anything more capitalist than Toyota taking GM to the cleaners via good old competition. The fact is our cars are much more reliable, more efficient and safer because the Japanese have set much higher standards for automobiles than the crap that was coming out of Detroit the past few decades. Our environment is also benefitting from Japanese ingenuity, as the Japense lead the way with far less polluting hybrids. The John Birchers probably see it as all part of a Communist plot. Somewhere along the way being inefficient and polluting was equated with being capitalist by the wingnuts, when in fact it is wasteful and hurts the bottom line in the long run.
